Governor of Lagos state Babajide Sanwo-Olu meet one on one with the artist who made a funny drawing of him, and encourages youths to help in the growth and development of Lagos state,he said

"My faith in the ability of young people as the future of our state and country remains unshakable.

I reaffirmed this today during a youth summit in Lagos where I met with young people across the state who came together to participate in a peace conference aimed at creating a common platform to pursue peaceful resolution to conflicts.

At the conference with the theme "Rebuilding for Greatness: Peaceful Conflict Resolution" organised by the Ministry of Youth and Social Development, I listened to the conversations on how the youth can effectively channel their grievances to the authorities.

With young people's commitment to peace, our state can now undergo a total healing process after the last year coordinated attacks on its public and private properties which also resulted in the loss of lives and livelihood.

Today is a day of reconciliation and it is about our teeming youths. This is the moment to create a common ground and take ownership of our future. We have indeed assessed what we have passed through as a people; it’s now time to come together to build our lives.

This event is about aggregating all the conversations of the millions of youths that have been represented here. We remain with the agreement that when we work together, we can build a resilient society we will truly be proud of.

We will continue to build, engage end work with our young people. I certainly will not give up on you as partners in progress and your ability to bring about positive changes."
